How we pack your order
Each pack of product comes in its own carton and we store these in our coldstore. We pick your order and the cartons are together packed in a wool insulated cardboard box with ice packs.
How we deliver your order
We will email you when we dispatch the consignment, alongside an Tracking Number, this enables you to track your delivery progress. Tracking information should be available from 10pm on the day of despatch. If you need to change delivery address or instructions to the parcel courier, then please do this directly with the parcel courier. Parcel couriers will never ask for personal information, always be careful when speaking with third parties.
We cannot amend delivery details once despatched.
Boxes are held in our coldstore until the courier collects them late afternoon and they aim to deliver the following day before 4pm. Don’t be concerned if deliveries are made later in the day. Our products will hold temperature.
Where possible, ensure that there will be someone available to receive the delivery. Couriers are instructed to leave in a Safe place and to NOT take the delivery back to the depot. It also states this on the box and delivery label!
No Contact Delivery Practice
Most parcel couriers are adopting the ' No Contact Delivery Practice '. This is for the safety of both you and the driver. The delivery driver will not ask you to sign the delivery Handheld Device. Instead the driver will knock the door/ring the doorbell, place the consignment on the doorstep, step back from the door 2 metres and ask for you to confirm your name. The driver will then type your name into the Delivery Handheld Device. An exception to the above process will be deliveries to buildings which have a communal access point (e.g. flats/high rise buildings), when delivery direct to your doorstep may not always be possible due to current Health & Safety requirements. If there is no Answer, Couriers are instructed to leave in a safe place and to NOT take the delivery back to the depot. It also states this on the box and delivery label.
When you receive your order
Open the box and unpack into the freezer or fridge, depending upon when you think you may use the product. If you are unsure, place inside the freezer and keep the cartons flat.
Products will start to thaw in transit, don’t worry, we have thought of this and its perfectly safe to place straight into the freezer (or fridge if you wish to use sooner) Always check the ‘Use By’ date and remember that you can re-freeze the product even if its been in the fridge (as long as you do so before the use by date)
Every box has an information sheet, please read it.
Every pack has a `Use By’ date and label on the front and detailed product/instruction labels on the back of pack.
